My Opus Magnum

Friday, February 27th, 2004

The most persistent lie in my repertoire is: I must give my “best” to Christ.
The reality is that my “best” is worthless. Not only is it not very good, but I do not “own” it. I am incapable of producing good. The only thing I can honestly give is that which [...]

THIS is why I quit

Thursday, February 26th, 2004

I had the PLEASURE of attending a fieldtrip with Nicole this morning. National Institute of Fitness and Sport. BEING there with her (after more than a month of her requests and reminders): THAT is my biggest accomplishment this month.

Not unrelated (and almost as special) was the opportunity to have breakfast yesterday morning [...]

Stop Trying!

Wednesday, February 25th, 2004

We need to take Scripture in context of Scripture: the purpose of the WORD (Written and Person) is NOT to serve as a moral code or example that we apply to obtain purity(a). The purpose of the WORD is to convict us of sin and point us to our Savior!

I bought a new TV in December

Monday, February 23rd, 2004

I brought the JVC TV home in my Dodge (88% Made-In-The-USA) mini-van. Then I hooked it up to my Samsung DVD, Panasonic VCR, and Sony PS2.
I watch it regularly to keep track of the idiot politicians who let all of our jobs move overseas.

[Judge] Cedarbaum said she would not allow such testimony before the jury because “there are too many things about it that lead down other roads.” [...]

My Job

Can you really call it ‘work’???
An interview:
We understand that you run your own ‘business‘ and work alone. Do you work from your home then?
NO. I find that “working from home” is a contradiction. When I am home I am NOT working. I might have a computer on and check emails. [...]

If PARENTS designed shoes

Wednesday, February 18th, 2004

It is clear that shoe-designers do not ask parents of 13 year-old boys when designing shoes. Of course, they sell so many more shoes because they don’t.
IF parents were involved in the design:

Heels…NOT toes…would be reinforced. See, reinforced toes accentuate kicking-damage (to the target). Obviously we don’t want that (and likely have [...]

Who is this guy?!?

Monday, February 16th, 2004

Perhaps some of you are asking: “Who is this guy that has started blogging so late in the game?!? He has cluttered even further our lovely ‘members’ page.”
More likely you are asking “Who does this guy think he is!?!”
I’m glad you asked.
