Getting Ready

Wednesday, June 30th, 2004

Lined up our house-sitter last night. Lorrie did some shopping for the essentials. Borrowed the camera and luggage from my brother and sister-in-law down the street. Get to start packing tomorrow night. Forecast for Friday evening calls for serious flurries of laundry with occasional severe thunder & lightning (friends lined up [...]

HOLD STILL!

Tuesday, June 29th, 2004

Got the kids to stand still long enough to get a picture following Nicole’s game over at the park. Can’t tell you how hard it was to get them to stand so close together (can’t tell you because they volunteered). Between arguments I think they really like each other!

Tuesday, June 29th, 2004

Nic had her final game last night. She really had a great time her first year of organized sports.
She might just turn into a serious athlete, but as I sat in the stands watching my 6 year old superstar, my primary thought was “

Trouble

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2004

LOT’s going on - much that I might worry about - ton’s of fuel to be used for growth. I’m going to actually try to put into practice Phillipians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, [...]
