Came into work today without my keys. Had to be let into the office by one of the owners of my host/client business. Thankfully he was here early today. Had resigned to head back home and get my keys - thankfully that is only about a four mile drive.

I first started to write this entry with the following sentence:
It is now very clear to me that when work is going REALLY WELL I do not have any inclination to blog.
But I am re-thinking that.
As I’ve watched le Tour this year, I have thought more than ever what makes Lance different from so many others.
I love the celebration of his effort and determination: The Nike commercial which shows him riding through various terrain with multiple companions (though each only accompanies him for a very brief moment).

It occured to me while I was mowing a while back (many great thoughts occur while running, mowing, etc. - aparently that’s when the blood flows and my brain can really function).
Surprised to find a MAJOR theme of Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe is the Gospel.
My brother foolishly left a jar of Tony Packos Sweet & Spicy Pickles where I could see it while rifling through his fridge while he was out (I had a VERY good reason for being in his fridge, never you mind).
He now has a mostly-empty jar of Tony Packos Sweet & Spicy Pickles.
