My Little Girl’s Hero

Wednesday, December 29th, 2004

Well, we pushed it the last several days. With the kids home so much we let them watch a couple videos they don’t often get to see. Then yesterday we took the kids and a couple friends to see A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Last night was spent with Nicole terrified and trembling. [...]

Slow & Simple

Tuesday, December 28th, 2004

Worked only a half day on Friday, December 17, and then another half day this past Monday. I’ll be working a half day (possibly a little more) on Thursday. Beyond that I have been off / will be off from work for two whole weeks. The kids and I have been hanging [...]

Game Addict

THIS is frightening:
Photosensitive Seizure Warning
A very small percentage of people may experience a seizure when exposed to certain visual images, including flashing lights or patterns that may appear in video games. Even people who have no history of seizures or epilepsy may have an undiagnosed condition that can cause these “photosensitive epileptic seizures” while watching [...]

That’s MY Boy!

Tuesday, December 14th, 2004

I had the pleasure of accompanying Jeremy’s orchestra to the Indiana State Museum yesterday. It was really a great time - the kids were awesome and the museum is definitely worth a visit! Another example of why I dropped out of the corporate rat race.

“Church” Conversations

Friday, December 10th, 2004

Over the past 3 years I have discovered so much about church and the Gospel and OUR AMAZING SAVIOUR.

Christmas Spirit Alert Level

Friday, December 3rd, 2004

The current Alert Level is BLUE - Guarded.
Suspicious activities have been noted in the vicinity.
Specifically: pre-decorating (actions believed to be taken to make room for a Christmas tree and other ornamental, sentimental, cluttermental items) and undeniably decorating actions have been taken (lights are up on the outside of the house). Be alert [...]

Will Jason come back?!?

Thursday, December 2nd, 2004

He’s probably on his way to counseling right now after spending several hours in my office this morning.
He’s been here numerous times. But today I was in full-shocking-chaos-musical taste mode. Former employees rarely speak of their experience of riding in a car with me - but when forced will convey the horror and [...]

Business Lunch…

Wednesday, December 1st, 2004

Over the past 13 years I have eaten out almost every day. I’ve had some really unique dining experiences as well as been bored almost to tears with the same old same old same old things.
My Most Memorable Business Meals:
Eating at the various restaurants at Desert Spring Resort (where you take a gondola boat [...]
